Makes you wonder?

With all the talk about water rationing this year and in years past the threat of it. I can't help but wonder, if water runoff powers the generators in the streams and rivers that produce the electricity. Add to that the warnings of years past of rolling blackouts due to over use of the electric grid all over the USA.

Why then last week when temperatures were in the 90's for a good 3 days did I never hear a mention of conserving or turning down the A/C units to conserve electricity in any media; news or radio? Seems fishy to me.
