Our vote for favorite Italian restaurant "C'era Una Volta" in Alameda
If you are out and about Park Street Wednesday thru Saturday nights, this is the restaurant to dine at. They are closed Mondays. They are also open for lunch and and light breakfasts Tuesday thru Sunday. Rudi and Cheryl are the friendliest hosts in Alameda. This is the type of restaurant you could pick up and sit down in San Francisco's Union Square and it would fit right in. The food is superb and the serving size is on the healthy side. For the special occasion call ahead and reserve the table inside the alcove, for that matter reservations any evening are a good idea. I am looking forward to the day or night my wife and I can have a nice dinner, stroll over and catch a new movie in the theater (coming soon) and end the night with a Tuckers ice cream on the way back to the car. Can you ask for a better evening?
