Market activity for the start of the New Year

For years we have watched the New Year activity begin to pick up steam in the late winter months or early springtime, basically late February or early April. However, starting last January and just as is happening now in 2007 the activity is beiginnng very early, in Alameda at least. While the market never really came to standstill this past holiday season it did of course follow the norm. It slowed as expected but we closed escrow on two properties in the two weeks leading up to Christmas and listed another. In addition we received offers on all of Nancy and I's listed properties.
