Puccini's masterpiece directed and narrated by Robert Lundy-Paine is a semi-staged concert version set in modern San Francisco. From the grit of the Tenderloin to the glitter of Nob Hill, four artists ache for sensuality and inspiration but face unbearable heartbreak. Robert Lundy-Paine narrates this glorious opera at the elegant Rhythmix Cultural Works, with piano accompaniment by Skye Atman. Opening night with live music and a champagne reception following the performance. SF Opera member, Eileen Meredith, who wowed audiences as Cunegonde in Virago's production of "Candide", sings the role of Mimi. Also starring Ray Chavez, Zoltan DiBartolo, Alexander Frankel, Stephanie Kupfer, Jo Vincent Parks, Paul Thompson, and Horus Tolson.

No musical experience is necessary and instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
